It has three beaches and is called Lac des Sables, as in sandy lake, lots of sand. Plague Venant and Plage Major are the two biggest and you can find them easily in google maps. I think it is $3 for the day. There are beaches in Tremblant on Lac Moore, very small and Lac Tremblant, very pricey. The Beach and Tennis club is a great spot but I think it is over $20 a day now. I drive past the end of the road quite often. You get off HWY 15 north at St Sauveur and take the 364 up through Morin Heights, sometime after that you will find the road called Montee Argenteuil. Google Domaine Flamingo in Ste Adolphe d'Howard and I think you will find what you are looking for. Probably the name of the lake was changed at some point along the way.
